Interns and recent graduates participating in the Sand Valley Internship Program should expect a world-class learning experience and continued education beyond the classroom. Our crafted internship program provides the student with a practical account of PGA golf operations management and extracurricular learning opportunities through our expanded education programs.
• Accurately charge and track golf rounds on 6 golf courses, up to 1,000 rounds per day across the resort
• Learn detailed retail processes and strategies
• Gain experience with Point of Sale and Inventory programs
• Work and interact with guests from across the globe
• Learn critical thinking and problem solving techniques
• Assist guests with check-in, golf itinerary and lodging accommodations
• Coordinate group arrivals and departures including luggage transportation, bag tagging and traffic flow
• Provide unparalleled guest service in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere
• Manage and maintain our new state-of-art practice center
• Learn critical thinking and problem solving skills
