The opening of our new 12-hole course, the Commons, designed by Jimmy Craig, marks an exciting new chapter at Sand Valley. Inspired by the communal spirit of great Scottish courses like North Berwick, the Commons celebrates fast play, creativity, and the ground game. Designed as a place to gather, it is a course for everyone in the family—equally enjoyable for seasoned players and beginners. It is the kind of place where you set out together, cross paths with others out for an evening walk, and watch the sun settle over Luna Lake.

Course Details
Commons opens with a par-5 played across bold, undulating ground and concludes with a dramatic 4-hole stretch around the peninsula of Luna Lake. Many believe this could be the best set of finishing holes on the entire property! The routing is played across 60 acres, totaling a par 45, and consists of one par-5, seven par-4s, and four par-3s.
